Dear you,

Just a few days ago I was in Austria with my dear friend Rapahel. We performed at a festival with stories about how we fell in love and got married. Not to each other, but to the women in our lives. Raphael told the touching stories of how when I was invited to perform in Armenia, a country I had dreamed of visiting, I had to decline on account of the two babies that I had. So Raphael went, listened to the most touching music he ever heard in his life, and the rest is history: he got married and his wife is here to do awesome things in Amsterdam. One of which is to have a jam session tomorrow in the Mezrab, and she would really like for you to come and listen, or join with your instruments!

Tonight we have a great night in the regular Mezrab: Off the Page! Fernando hosts a cheeky night on where storytelling meets literature.

Tomorrow (Wednesday), as mentioned above, the Armenian music and jam session in the Other Mezrab. Doors open at 7, music starts at 8.

Saturday we have the MASSIVE band TissDas. All the way from Niger to bring their Desert Blues Rock! Here's where you listen to tracks and grab tickets. Also, please tell all your friends about this one.

Finally Sunday we end the week with a great Bal, the monthly event in which we dance the traditional dances of Europe. Always on live music, and always with teachers who revive and teach us the European dances for those who don't know the steps. Curious? Have a look!

Ok, that's it for the week,

See you at the events!
