Let's clean the year!

Hi everyone,

There's a Persian tradition which asks for a full overhaul and cleaning of the house to welcome the spring. In the Mezrab we have a similar view, as we can open the doors and bring in some fresh air, we also look at some of the programmes, the old and the new, and see what we'd like to offer you. Well, two things that you'll notice is a great variety of music nights (which our music programmer Rogier already started to set up!) and new ideas for storytelling nights with new hosts. It also means that there's one night which we will appear for the last time on our Tuesdays tomorrow:

Come be part of the cosiest night in the Mezrab. Tomorrow (Tuesday March 11) Chidi will host the last Tell, then show! night on our Tuesdays. It's a night crosses storytelling with a jam, everyone is invited to participate in the conversation and bring the little nuggets of magic. It's a free night, doors open at 19.00 and Chidi will start at 20.00.

Saturday night (March 15) we have another Alt Comedy night, with the most bizarre and inspiring acts hand picked by comedy great Lara! Tickets and more info here.

Tuesday March 18 you're all invited for the storytelling night of struggle and overcoming called Samizdat. Host will be Raffi!

The actual first day of Spring, March 20 will be the night of Kurdish, Armenian and Turkish music with the Nasin Quartet! Yalla, grab your tickets!

On March 22 we have our yearly storytelling Marathon. Stories from 12.00 till 24.00. What?? Have a look at the programme and the delicious artwork Irina made.

March 27 is the night for two massive Mexican acts who blend Ska, Punk, Hip Hop and more into a danceable blend. Come get sweaty to Doctor Krapula and Machingon. Press on the link here, listen to the songs, and get your spots!
