Time is a money illusion

Hi everyone, 

Another week is starting, which means days! And days are filled with time, which technically is an illusion, but time is also money. This isn't a contradiction, as illusions definitely are money, a lesson taught to us by the great French innovators of film, the Lumière brothers. 

Now, we are absolute rebels, so our illusory experiences of storytelling, music and more don't cost money per se. Many of the nights are donation based, so you decide if you wish to donate and how much out of your own free will. But then again, isn't free will but an illusion?

See, philosophically everything we offer you makes sense:

Monday (16-3) / Gay pub quiz! Exactly what it sounds like.

Tuesday (17-3) / Samizdat! The night in which the political is personal and the personal political. Come listen to moving stories, hosted by Basak. Donation based. Doors 19.00 / show 20.00

Thursday (19-3) / Funk night of Ola Rud (Ukraine) and her band the Cosmic 5. I'm pretty sure you've never partied to this. Listen and get tix here. 

Saturday (21-3) / Alt Comedy Night / The absolutely strangest acts from the dark corners of comedy. We endeavour to bring you the underrated hits of the Edinburgh Fringe Fest and beyond. Look!

Then on Sunday (22-3) the event you've been waiting for! Mezrab's World Storytelling Day Marathon! This has become a time honoured tradition! We start at 12.00 and stop at 24.00. We fill this time with storytellers, hosts and some musical acts. Come for a bit, or all of it! You will be surrounded by kind and gentle people! Free obviously. 

Ok, then back on Monday (23-3) and in a normal font size, we have the Comedy Open Mic. Also donation based. Come and laugh!
