Hello dears,
First off, I know you have it in your agenda, because you love the Tuesdays, but a reminder never hurt anyone: Tonight we have our Queer storytelling night extravaganza. Come!
Other things I am sure you have in your agenda, but I am just being nice: We have our
Brazilian Club night with Zuco 103 guest featuring Guitar god
Anton Goudsmit this Thursday. Then on Saturday we have not one but two Balkan fusion bands making us
go hoppa!
Now, things that are less likely to be in your agenda, but I still want you to know about them are:
- The free Comedy Open Mic happening on Monday Feb 24.
- The Tuesday night brilliance on Feb 25 that is Pearls on a String (the night where improv meets storytelling meets music).
-
Raffi Feghali giving another
ONE DAY course in the art of improvising stories on
March 1.
Buy tickets here.
-
Raffi also does his fully improvised solo show in the crazy character of
Halim Al-Hakawati, where he brings you 1001 night stories that have never been written.
Tickets!
- On
Saturday March 8 we do something we have never done before. Two huge bands will play for Free(ish) in a Mezrab
acoustic busking party! Come and dance and throw some money in the hat (or scan their QR code). Read about
it here!
- Finally, come spend 12 hours with us on
March 22. We are organizing our yearly storytelling Marathon! That's a whole day of togetherness and stories. From the personal to the ancient to the absurd: Read about
it here and tell all your friends!
Hoppa, fun times.

PS. We sometimes do things outside of the Mezrab. Coming Monday we are the guests of a special event in the Brakke Grond. It's a Dutch language event on the various faces of Chemistry, but our very own (English Language) teller Chidi will tell a beautiful story.
Go, especially if you speak Dutch.
PPS. Don't want to leave the house? Listen to stories on your podcast platforms. Like
this one.
