Hi everyone,

Hope you are surviving the heat! Actually, it's only two more days of it, before it cools down, but we will continue the heatwave with a CUMBIA PARTY this Saturday! Grab your tickets now for some caliente dancing. We have student discounts and super broke discounts (and links to songs) here.

Another event that finishes off the summer is the Queer Prom we will host on Saturday August 30th. What's that about? Have a read here. 

Now after August is over we will have a few interesting changes in Mezrab:

- We will start the Tuesday nights again in September. These are nights with an incredible mix of topics and styles, from political stories, to the ancient folk tales and myths, to improvised stories. 

- From September we will also STOP with the Friday nights in the Other Mezrab. We love this cute little location and used the last months to see what works (and what doesn't). The Fridays were simply too successful! So after the summer we will use the space for workshops and hidden little solos (not that hidden, we will mention them in this mail list and on the website). So the Fridays in August are the last ones in the Other Mezrab, if you wish to attend. 

- We have a full roster of classes starting in September. Intro Courses to storytelling, on working with Fear, on telling stories for children and more! For all info check out www.mezrabstorytellingschool.nl 

- September is also the month in which Mezrab tellers have shows in the Amsterdam Fringe Festival and Mezrab itself is a host for Fringe shows. Check out their site!
