Following Thursday evening’s presentation when about 70 people filled the hall at St. Columba’s to hear a very enlightening talk by Dr. Ben Harris, please find attached the following:

1) the Key points made in the presentation.

2) a document summarising the perception and reality of assisted dying that has been drawn from the presentation.

A reminder that the closing date for the survey is 26 January.  It may be accessed at https://consult.gov.im/private-members/assisted-dying/consultation/intro/

 

Care not Killing has produced a useful briefing note on the questionnaire with suggestions as to which questions are best left out to avoid the impression you support assisted killing.  This is also attached.

 

Please do use the information to ensure your friends and family and your MHKs are all aware of the facts so they can help us defeat this evil proposal.

 

And please pray for a successful outcome and also for the repose of the souls of all those lives which ended prematurely in places where assisted killing is allowed.
