The next few weeks

Hi all,

To inform you all of what is going on, there currently is FUMC discussion on same sex marriage given its legality in the State of Illinois.....And the recent PCUSA's decision to allow it in states that have legalized it.  While I have had some personal discussions on this matter, I am wondering if this is something that people should discuss.  So, for the next couple weeks  CAFE will discuss this.

I won't be at Cafe this week, but wanted to pass on a proposal to move the decision-making regarding same-sex marriage to local congregations (instead of General Conference).
