去爱尔兰，请教一个问题

大家好。本人应老板要求，将于明年3月去爱尔兰参加一个学术会议。当时没怎么想就答应了，现在突然意识到签证问题。本人是中国护照，美国绿卡。这种情况，肯定需要签证吧？本人住在Chapel Hill，应该到哪里、如何申请签证呢？从没去过欧洲，没有经验。烦请有经验的同胞指点。非常感谢！

爱尔兰驻美使领馆发放赴爱签证, 签证均须在线申请 - single
entry visa 单价好像是$81:

'All visa applicants must apply for their visa through the online
visa application service'
