We are a Caucasian family with two children who are heritage-level Mandarin speakers, currently enrolled at Cary Chinese School. Thanks to intensive tutoring and schooling, they have developed strong language skills, and we are eager to continue supporting their Mandarin exposure at home.
We are currently seeking a part-time nanny for the upcoming school year and would love to connect with the local Mandarin-speaking community. As neither parent speaks Mandarin, any additional language immersion we can provide through childcare would be a significant benefit.

Melissa MauridesWe're a family looking for a reliable after-school nanny/family assistant for two kids (ages 6 and 8, both fluent in Mandarin) in the Brier Creek area. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 2:45 PM to 7:30 PM (guaranteed 20 hours/week, with occasional extras). The role involves school pickup, driving to activities, light meal prep, homework support, and helping us keep afternoons running smoothly. Our kids are bright, friendly, and active, and we also have a sweet 12-year-old dog-though no pet care is needed. We'd love to find someone who's confident behind the wheel.
