Hey all,
I have a need for the fork lift, as we all will pretty soon. Is there
anyone ready, willing, and able to help CAFAC get it: A. Find the
poor connection in the wiring. B. Running with great consistancy. C.
Oil and stuff. D. Cleaned and painted exciting colors.
Wednesday the 27th of April. That's Wednesday, Wednesday, Wednesday!
27, 27, 27! Kick off meeting! Kick off meeting! Kick off meeting!

Thank you,
Roger ( I like coffee) Karlson.

Roger,
I have a previous engagement 27th, and not sure I want to pick up another semiofficial responsibility, but I'd be interested in assisting.
Do you have a service manual?

Roger,

Same here on the commitment.

I’m an ex-mechanic and love getting old machines running.

Happy to help but I wouldn’t be able to do any emergency work if needed yesterday.

When do you need it operational?  What time on Wednesday – is that a work session?  Budget for parts?

Same question about the manual?  Is there one?

If not, I can do some digging on the machine for make, model and serial number and see if I can scare one up.

I have the schematic manual and parts list.
The wireing is kinda' (ok really) a mess, but since it's a old flat
head, wiring should be the same as a 52 Jeep, or Ford industrual 4.

I tried to start yesterday, and it wouldn't. The last time I put a
meter to teh battery, I put out 11.7. The groung strap is new and
clean, so this leads me to think its in the relay, pos. connections,
and or, just age.

If we start he process the following week, that may be ok, but we'll
need it for moving the mill, Hardinge, and the new plasma table when
it arrives.

Let me know. Roger

Greeting all you hearty Minnesotans!

This Wednesday ( 4 May) would be a good day to meet regarding the
forklift. Anyone interested in getting their fingers greasy?

Let me know.
