If you're interested in what happens at and around North Berkeley BART, read on. If not, my apologies for bugging you on what is *normally* just my election recommendations email list. 

This Thursday evening there will be a "Community Meeting re Housing Possibilities on North Berkeley BART Parking Lot", sponsored by Berkeley Mayor Jesse Arreguin, City Councilmember Linda Maio, and BART Director Rebecca Saltzman. 

I plan to go. North Berkeley has been my BART station for the past 18 years, and I've always wanted to have something more vibrant than asphalt to greet me at the beginning and end of my day. I look forward to learning about the options and I hope we get to have a good community process to figure out how to build on North Berkeley's strengths and improve our neighborhood.
