I'm hoping to get something running in the Colab environment so that my students can use it. I know we won't get the full app experience, but it seems like we could get something working that's like the CLI experience.

Colab is pretty easy for getting most python modules installed, but the version that pip has access to is out of date (1.x), so I'm trying various approaches to getting the latest up and running... it feels like I'm getting closer, but it's not quite happy.

No errors on the installation when I do it this way:

All help appreciated,

You cannot the deps of CQ via pip. I never tried collab myself, but it seems like one can install conda with it: https://towardsdatascience.com/conda-google-colab-75f7c867a522

If using Anaconda with Collab doesn't work, you might consider using jupyter-cadquery in MyBinder. You should be able to click the "launch binder" badge in the readme. https://github.com/bernhard-42/jupyter-cadquery/blob/master/README.md
