Edge of intersecting solids

Hello,

question: how can I get the edge(s) where two objects intersect?

My usecase is a somewhat complicated surface that I want to punch a hole
into, then loft() the boundary of the cut-out to the edges of a fitting
that needs to go into this hole.

I don't really want to calculate suitable 3D positions for a heap of
NearestToPointSelector calls …
