Hi, I am wondering if anyone has had experience installing CadQuery in a CentOS:7 based docker container?

I have only used CadQuery in Docker on Ubuntu. Are you having problems?

@Shimwell has been involved in some conversations regarding Docker.

There's a Docker file provided by @RubenRubens here: https://github.com/RubenRubens/cq-testing/blob/master/Dockerfile

And one provided by @Shimwell in the unmerged changes here: https://github.com/CadQuery/cadquery/pull/481/files

Hi Jeremy,

Thank you very much for your response.

After updating conda I managed to install CadQuery successfully on a CentOS7 docker image. This probably should have been the first thing to try!

Ah yes looks like the miniconda centos image is a little old as they have switched to miniconda Ubuntu. Glad to hear a conda update worked for you John

All the best

Jon
