Would you please add URL of answer for FAQ at

Q: How do I find the AccountID for one of my accounts?
A: In the ChannelAdvisor user interface, go to My Accounts > Developer
Network > Account Authorizations. You'll find the information there.

I searching the website, could not find any UI webpage?

Thanks

This menu item is only available in the new User Interface.  Make sure that you are using that and not the older interface.

If you don't have account administration permissions, then you'll
probably need someone with account admin permissions in the
organization you're working with to provide you with this information,
then. I would talk to whoever at your company / client has this
permission.

Is it YOUR Account that you are trying to get access to?  Or an Account for someone that you are working for?

Well ... I guess I could have not asked the question and given you a really round-about answer that probably would have confused you even further.  But believe it or not, I am actually trying to help.

Based on some recent additions to the API over the last few months, the preferred method of finding out what Accounts (and their associated AccountIDs) your Developer Key has access to is by using the method "GetAuthorizationList" in the Admin Service (http://developer.channeladvisor.com/display/cadn/Admin+Service).  If you find that the Account that you want access to is NOT in the list that you get back from making that method call, then what you can do is make a call to the "RequestAccess" method in that same service.  The "localID" value that you pass into that method is the ProfileID for the Account that is available from within MAP.  Once you make this method call, it will create an Alert Message with MAP that explains to a User how grant the requested access.

To get the ProfileID from within MAP as well as grant the access from the Alert Message, you will have to login to MAP with Admin rights.  Once you login (and are in the new UI), follow the menu options: My Account -> Developer Network -> Account Authorizations.  On that page, expand the section at the top labeled "Account List".  There you will find the ProfileID for the Account that you need access to.  As for the Alert Message, it will contain a link that you can click on that will take you directly to a page to allow you to grant the access.

Did you actually try using the Admin Service methods as I suggested in my last reply?  And if so, can you explain in more detail how those results were not able to give you want you want?

What I tried as following the instruction both of

your http://groups.google.com/group/cadn/browse_thread/thread/72a7b862eee04f13
and
Admin Service http://developer.channeladvisor.com/display/cadn/Admin+Service

----------- Operation 1
* month - GetAuthorizationList Gets a list of all of the Account
Authorizations for your Developer Key
* Response Description - If the Status property of the return object
is set to Success, then the ResultData property will be set to an
array of objects containing the list of Authorizations and their
state.
* My result as topical
GetAuthorizationList of Admin Service Success, but did not get the
ResultData property Options.
So it did not get as Description as above

------------ Operation 2
* month - RequestAccess Allows you to submit a request for access to a
specific MAP Account.
* Request localID * int This value must be given to you by the
Account owner

My question is Who is account owner? customer of CA or ChannelAdvisor
Developer Network?)

I can login to customer of CA, where I am working to.

Hi Andy,

I find out about localID = profileID = apid (if defining unique ID
would be much help for developer and customer) where appear on URL
when I login to account of customer of CA.

http://complete.channeladvisor.com/alerts.aspx?apid=*****

then back to month - GetAuthorizationList Gets a list of all of the
Account success,
but [Status] => Pending
