Escaping single quotes in search by sku request

I am trying to search for a product by it's sku, but the sku contains single quotes. Is there a way to escape single quotes while searching? Specifically looking at this request:

https://developer.channeladvisor.com/working-with-products/retrieve-products/retrieve-product-id-by-sku-with-a-filter

In my case, the sku might be something like "Exhaust pipe 4' straight".
