Lanzamiento del Plan de Acción de Hashimoto II
El Secretario de las Naciones Unidas Asesor General de la Junta de Agua y Saneamiento (UNSGAB) se ha embarcado en su siguiente fase estratégica con el lanzamiento del Plan de Acción Hashimoto II disponibles enhttp://www.unsgab.org/HAP-II/. En pocos años, los líderes mundiales evaluarán los progresos realizados hacia los Objetivos de Desarrollo del Milenio, incluidos los objetivos de reducir a la mitad para el año 2015 el número de personas sin acceso sostenible al agua potable y saneamiento básico. Cómo las políticas, estrategias y acciones en marcha durante los próximos tres años es absolutamente crítico. El II Plan de Acción de Hashimoto, contribuye a este esfuerzo por motivar, convocar e impulsar a sus socios para lograr los objetivos en cinco áreas clave: la financiación, el saneamiento, seguimiento y presentación de informes, la gestión integrada de recursos hídricos y el agua y los desastres.  El II Plan de Acción de Hashimoto articula una visión con plazos, medidas orientadas hacia objetivos claros y el objetivo de garantizar un futuro donde cada niño, mujer y el hombre goza de agua potable y saneamiento adecuado. Release of the Hashimoto Action Plan II
The United Nations Secretary-General's Advisory Board on Water and Sanitation (UNSGAB) is embarking on their next strategic phase with the release of the Hashimoto Action Plan II available at http://www.unsgab.org/HAP-II/ . In only a few years, world leaders will assess progress made towards the Millennium Development Goals, including the targets to halve by 2015 the number of people without sustainable access to safe drinking water and basic sanitation. Getting the right policies, strategies and actions in place during the next three years is absolutely critical. The Hashimoto Action Plan II contributes to this effort by motivating, convening and galvanizing its partners to achieve objectives in five key areas: financing, sanitation, monitoring & reporting, integrated water resources management and water and disaster. The Hashimoto Action Plan II articulates a time-bound vision, targeted actions and clear outcomes aiming to ensure a future where each child, woman and man enjoys clean water and safe sanitation.
