Helloto all Bin a while,
my Tbeam units still run the early FW version and today decide meshtastic-flasher FW flash to the latest new one and that bring some interesting problems.
Using Git Bash the old way, FW loading is working fine.
When meshtastic-flasher connect Tbeam get message about RKS1200 detected
Why meshtastic-flasher crash while FW flash Tbeam?
Why edge/ chrome not read the settings from Tbeam?
For most users is to difficult to manually fill in all config settings?
Why edge / chrome not show standard Tbeam settings?
Why edge / chrome USB Serial comms with Tbeam not working?
TTGO
Al is done thank you personal i liked the local meshtastic-flasher to revert back to older FW versions. Is this still possible webflasher?
Only thing, when internet is down, wbflasher not working?

We recommend leaving the flasher unplugged for 24 hours until the battery is completely discharged (you can tell this by the red light that lights up when you switch it on again, indicating a critical battery level). Then please fully charge the flasher again. What is important is that the functional problem cannot occur while driving.
When it comes to charging, it is important that you use a USB-A to USB-C charging cable (ideally the one that you found in the package). A UBS-C to USB-C charging cable cannot currently be used for charging. Please also make sure that the power supply you are using allows between 1 A and 2.4 A (= 1,000 mA to 2,400 mA). If the charger is too weak, both bangles cannot be supplied with enough power at the same time. Charging from a USB-A socket on a laptop/computer usually does not work because the sockets of many of these devices only support 0.5 A. If a power supply supplies much more than the necessary 2.4 A (or 12W) of power, the batteries prevent charging so that overheating and dangers cannot arise.
The bracelets have a USB-C port and can be charged with a USB-C to USB-A cable. Each flasher set comes with its own Y-splitter cable, allowing both bracelets to be charged simultaneously using a single cable.
When you plug Flasher into a power outlet, it lights up orange for a short period of time. If you press the button while the devices are connected, they will also light up orange. Once fully charged, the light turns white when you press a button.
Here are step-by-step instructions for putting it on: First, take a bracelet and gently unroll one wing at a time with both hands. There is a pressure point at the bottom, the wings click open when they are fully unfurled. Next, bring one elbow in front of your chest. With the other hand, place the open bracelet on the first arm, just above the elbow. The quickest way to close the bracelet is to grab it by the middle part and press the wings closed from above, either both at the same time or one after the other. Make sure the lights on the bracelets are pointing straight forward or backward as you let your arms hang next to you. If necessary, turn the bracelet forward a little, then the indicator will turn on particularly easily.
Take the following example: You turn on the turn signal on one side because you want to turn. Shortly afterwards, you have to brake hard due to an unforeseen event. When both bracelets are connected, one bracelet will continue to flash while the other's emergency brake lights will illuminate. The same thing is possible if you first brake hard and then decide to turn left or right. In this way, you can not only indicate emergency braking, but also signal your intention to turn at the same time.
If you brake hard and almost come to a standstill from a speed of at least 15-20 km/h, the bracelets register this braking process. Both bracelets then light up red towards the back. The light is therefore intended for emergency braking!
The Flasher app will soon be released, with which you can, among other things, adjust the sensitivity of the emergency brake light. Sign up for the newsletter now so that we can inform you about the launch.
Flasher is there for you when traffic becomes dangerous in the dark. The smart bicycle and e-scooter indicator has 4 modes that make you more visible in every situation. Not only can you show which direction you want to turn, but you can also provide clearly visible warning signs when braking hard or in emergency situations. And best of all: Flasher does not have to be mounted on the vehicle. You simply snap the two armbands onto your upper arms and are completely flexible.
Whether you're commuting to work every day, exploring the city or travelling for sport - Flasher is designed for all bike and e-scooter riders who don't want to leave safety to chance. The intelligent design and innovative functions make Flasher an indispensable companion for every journey.
In addition to riding a bike or e-scooter, Flasher is perfect for many other applications. Do you have a dog and often go for your daily walks in the dark? Then you can use Flasher's jogging mode to ensure that you and your four-legged friend are not overlooked. The jogging mode is of course also ideal for evening runs.
There are also numerous areas of application for Flasher for companies, for example as a useful Christmas present or to make work routes and construction sites even safer.
Flasher is more than just a simple indicator. The gesture-controlled indicators allow you to signal changes of direction intuitively and safely without taking your hands off the handlebars. The automatic emergency brake light reacts automatically in critical situations and warns other road users before braking. The position light ensures that you are clearly visible from all directions, even in the dark and in poor visibility conditions. Simply put on the two arm bands and you are optimally equipped.
Riding in poor lighting conditions harbours numerous risks. The visibility of cyclists and e-scooter riders is often limited, and careless drivers can pose a serious danger. This is where Flasher comes in and minimises these risks considerably. The gesture-controlled indicators and position light improve your visibility and make your intentions clear in traffic. The automatic emergency brake light is an additional protective mechanism that reacts with lightning speed in emergency situations.
Flasher always comes in a twin pack: when you order the turn signal armbands, you will receive two. These are fitted to your left and right arm. You can't go wrong, because each wristband fits every arm.
We also offer the Flasher protective case as a practical way to store your Flasher armbands safely. The round and robust design helps you to easily stow Flasher in your rucksack or bag and make yourself more visible wherever you go.
For optimum charging performance, we recommend the Flasher power adapter. The USB-A adapter is specially adapted to the charging conditions of the Flasher armbands.
If you want to go for the complete set, you can get all three products in one delivery with the practical Flasher set. Printed instructions and a Y-splitter charging cable are also included with the product.
Flasher combines advanced technology with thoughtful design. The gesture-controlled indicators use motion sensors to detect your hand movements and precisely signal changes in direction. The automatic emergency brake light reacts to deceleration and braking by immediately activating a noticeable light. The position light is designed to emphasize your presence on the road and ensure optimal visibility.
Invest in your safety and make every ride a safe adventure with Flasher. The easy use, convenient attachment and versatile functions make Flasher an indispensable companion for anyone who gets around on two wheels. Order your Flasher now and experience the future of road safety! Trust in innovation, visibility and security - trust Flasher.
I think the Yamaha ones have resistors built in, so they're plug and play. I remember my Aprilia Tuono ECU controlled them, so no need for resistors either. Some LEDs may also have them built in. I'd recommend checking/trying before you rip the bike down as you may not need to.
I'm aware that the Yamaha ones have built in resistors, but I'm probably not going to use them. However, I wasn't aware that other aftermarket ones might also have them built in, so that's something worth knowing and I'll definitely check up on!
The Yam ones have a resistor on each one I think but do not come with the plug attached. I had to cut the female part off the existing indicators and splice the wires. I found this a b it of a faf and disappointment that Yamaha could not have just put the correct connectors on. its a bit of a job to strip the bike down but good practice for when you have to/
I've got a full set of 'Indy Leads' on order and I'm going scavenge the OE style connectors to solder and heat-shrink onto the new indicator leads so they plug straight into the loom..... basically how Yamaha should have done it!
Good thread and discussion,
One of the very early mods will be to pull the oem blinkers and replace with an led set, and replacing the relay is always the way I do it on my bikes (except maybe the very first change over I did waaaay back on a fzr600)
I change my signal with this chinese things first off all tail of the bike is really problem too much work...if you want this signals work correctly cancel original flash relay on the bike otherwise they dont work correctly...slim signals are really looking good if you have money buy yamaha original ones but too expensive in my country...ı hope chinese things wont be break down in a short time...
