Games for Change Challenge Are you looking for a great class project? Autodesk and Unity are sponsoring the Games for Change Challenge to provide students with a platform to submit socially responsible games they design using Autodesk® software. Games for Change is looking for games that will have a positive and powerful impact on society. Gooru, a free* search engine for learning Imagine a teaching tool that makes it easy to find, organize, and share engaging digital content with your students. Gooru, a free* search engine for learning, does just that. Gooru is dedicated to providing educational content and access to experts and community. Autodesk has teamed up with Gooru to develop Digital STEAM and Sustainability collections that can be customized to teach in the classroom or in summer programs, or assigned as homework. With summer underway, save time planning for next year by visiting Gooru. Bring your students on a tour of the Autodesk Gallery The Autodesk Gallery in San Francisco, named a top destination by the San Francisco Chronicle, showcases the power of design. Learn how to turn today's idea into tomorrow's reality. With interactive exhibits by various customers of Autodesk—including Mercedes-Benz, Nike, Sony Pictures, Gensler, and more—the Gallery provides a behind-the-scenes look at the design process. Effective August 7th, the gallery is open to the public Wednesdays and Fridays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is free. Contact galler...@autodesk.com to schedule a tour. Save the date! Get certified on October 18 Mark your calendar for October 18, 2013. Participating Autodesk Authorised Training Centres (ATCs) across Europe will open their doors to CAD users, demonstrating Autodesk® products, providing training and preparation sessions, and enabling students and educators to take exams to certify their skills and earn an Autodesk Certification. Let these winners inspire you The results of the Excellence in Analysis Award are posted on the Sustainability Workshop website. This ongoing Excellence in Analysis competition looks for designs that use Autodesk tools and analysis to inform and make decisions about the design. The results are beautiful, high-performing conceptual building designs. Learn more about how to incorporate sustainable design in to your projects.
