Things are not working out well as of now and also the school wanted to have a change of plan but we will surely have the meeting .Okie let me tell you what problems we ( core members) are facing. Probably we might get a solution.
The school approached us ( a few core group members) to have an alumni meet to form an alumni body. And we were enthusiastic to invent things that we could do to school.We wanted to tell the important things that we felt the school was not covering like, extracurricular, reading habits and communication etc( needs more briefing next paragraph). But the school ( Shridhari Mam) just wanted to assemble all alumni together first. The management was happy to have an alumni body as long as there is no fiscal tie up between the body and the school. So now the problem is we don't know why we are meeting or why we should meet? That is the school has no reason to ask for a meet other than getting more registration. Atleast this is the only reason I felt the school had for getting a treat. Because the school has not asked us for anything after last months enrollments.Nor has anybody contacted us except Vatsa, his batchmates and you( nayantara) and few others.
We wanted to get our alumni from different fields and tell our young friends who are in their 10th and 9th why soft skills,reading became important by giving a live example. And also help school in any way which can help in improving the quality of education at our school.
This april 5 th will be one such meeting where we will be addressing children who have just written their exam. So we have this as the agenda for april 5th. So if any body has ideas as to what could be done on april 5th please let me know
