Tell me the time that would be convenient for you to come to school, so that we can fix the exact time based on the majority. It is better to start our meet during school hours which would be before 12 noon. I am available any time before 12 and will be there on any case. My mobile number is 9742222282.
I guess the meet would be to wish our teachers and to have coarse discussion on several aspects. Many have to be debated. We can do it over many sittings. I thought of a few topics. Just have look if you have time.( no online abusing plz)
1) Is SCVK giving right kind of education. a) Is it biased towards certain subjects and if so is the bias good? b) At a grass root examination more weight-age to the science related subjects is justified if you look at the number of ppl who take up science as their majors. The trend is towards science and engineering. Does the school need to consider these trends to design curriculum?
2) Is the school neglecting anything? This is something that we need to know being the alumni. Many might have felt it difficult after school. If majority agree on the suggestions we can have activities to take care of the lacuna.
3) Does the alumni body need to worry about all this? Why not just collect funds from school and/or alumni members and mediate( by using alumni's contacts) between the school and some expert who can help the school with its problems? We can adopt variations of the above mentioned idea to solve all problems.
4) Or we can adopt a more mediocre way in which we can have both, alumni's direct and indirect involvement based on some discretion.
So please think on all lines by asking what to do? why and how?

But, sumanth, it would be better if we could discuss on this. However,
could you please call me.. i think we missed due to Ganesha
festivals.. Not a problem, need to discuss on how to use the current
funds & the alumni activities going forward. I dont think so this
Group is so active anymore. The best thing is to send out mails or SMS
all across our contact list in the Alumni. The only thing we could do
in this Group is just give updates.. Cant expect replies from people
around here..
