Hi Jai! Thank you for your presentation. I appreciated hearing about the complex web of discourses at work with single mums. I was struck by the point that not being a mother was worse than being a single mother, though I really shouldn't have been. I found it insightful the way you laid out the different hierarchies of motherhood (or non-motherhood) along with age, class, and heteronormativity.
