Ifyou were stopped for speeding after law enforcement used a radar device, for example, the results can be challenged in a number of ways. Was the officer properly trained in using the device? Did the device give an inaccurate reading? Was the device properly maintained?

On the other hand, you may have been pulled over based on the subjective observations of a police officer.

We represent clients who have been charged with both moving and non-moving violations of local and state traffic law. Moving violations we have successfully handled include speeding, failing to obey traffic signals, following too closely, and improper turning while non-moving violations range from illegal parking, to driving with a suspended license, to failing to properly maintain the vehicle (e.g. broken tail light, turn signal).

Traffic laws also provide penalties for each of these violations, such as fines, license suspension or revocation, and, depending on the violation, incarceration. Additionally, a conviction for a traffic violation can have indirect consequences, not the least of which is a significant increase in your insurance premiums or being dropped by your insurance carrier altogether.

Our traffic violations attorneys are well-versed in the applicable state and local vehicle and traffic laws as well as regulations of the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV). When you come to AutoTrafficTickets.com, we will take the time to thoroughly investigate your case and explain all the possible consequences of your traffic violation.

We know how to fight traffic tickets and will work to assert all defenses available to you. Regardless of the violation, one of our experienced attorneys will handle your case at all times. We will appear in court on your behalf and negotiate with prosecutors to have your traffic violation charges reduced or dismissed. Above all, you will have peace of mind knowing that our accomplished traffic violations attorneys are in your corner. Call our office today or complete the convenient online contact form to start fighting your traffic violation.

No matter where they form and why, queues are impactful to traffic, causing delay and increased accident potential. The overall goal of this effort is to explore methodologies for automatically detecting the development of queues in a street network. Additional objectives would be to determine the spread of the queue, the rate of spread, and identify their impact area. By automatically determining these parameters from real-time information, the next step of predictive management (not taken in this project) could be analyzed to proactively employ real-time strategies to minimize queue formation, spread, and impact. While any real-time analytics approach faces significant challenges, new research in big-data monitoring, assessment, and analysis techniques provide the premise for finding a practical real-time solution.

He was a key researcher in a pilot-testing of the Reduced Speed Zone/Lane Closure Warning application developed by the Crash Avoidance Metrics Partners (CAMP) consortium under the V2I Safety Applications Project. He has also been involved in a major TxDOT project that provides advanced traveler information for the I-35 corridor expansion project in Central Texas. The very first gasoline-powered vehicle driven on the streets of Detroit was built by engineer Charles Brady King in 1896. It went as fast as 20 miles per hour, which was described in the newspaper as "tearing along the street at a lively rate, dodging people and teams."

The transition from the horse age to the motorized age would prove to be very dangerous. At first speeding vehicles were not a big problem, with only a few of them on Detroit streets, but the situation grew serious quickly.
