Dear CACPA Members and Friends,

Hope you are having a wonderful start in 2018.  I'd like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your kind support and active participation in our CACPA activities in 2017.

As the only non-profit organization for Chinese Americans working in cosmetic and personal care industries for more than 18 years, we have been striving to organize programs and activities in networking and sharing new technology/industry trends to add values to you and your professional development.  Key highlights of 2017 activities include

·         We partnered with SCC in May to organize a sustainability Forum at SCC Supplier’s Day with our past president Dr. Evelyn Su as a moderator and keynote speaker.

·         We also hosted a visiting delegate of Beijing Daily Chemical Society/Chinese National and planned and organized their visits to SCC Supplier’s Day exhibition and sharing with a selected chemical and cosmetic companies.

·         In July, we had a joint summer picnic with CACS (Tri-State Chinese American Chemical Society)

·         In Sept, Dr. Long Pan represented CACPA as an invited speaker in Guangzhou Cosmetic and Personal Care Summit and identified several promising collaborative opportunities for CACPA to pursue

·         In December, the traditional annual network luncheon was held at SCC national meeting in New York with the sponsorship of Sino Lion.

·         The 1st CACPA brochure was developed.

·         We have had the honor to add two more members to our advisory board – Mr. Charles Li and Dr. Long Pan

Dear Jeff,

Great job from the present and past committee members and presidents in contributing to the achievement of the society. Besides linking our society in the US and our colleagues in China, it  will be a great new achievement to see our members going to the public positions for the SCC such as the ones currently voting now.

Thank you and Happy New Year.
