The article has a focus to which I have no experience: a military need to preserve a
comfortable lifestyle. Military attack and defence activities destroy local and regional ecosystems (and settlement conditions) to which we all depend for continuing inhabiting of global space. Destruction of the space in which we live has dire consequence for humans and all other life forms upon which we depend!
