Golden Bears!
An abridged email this week - I'm afraid I may have come down with a bit of that Black Lung going around.
1) Do you like apples? Well, CACNE is apple picking on Sunday 10/24. Sign-ups close Saturday @ 5 PM. RSVP at http://tinyurl.com/cacneapple2010. How do you like them apples?
2) Football. Watch Cal take on Arizona State. We're favored to win, so no more games like last week. 10/23, 330 PM EST, Baseball Tavern. New T-Shirts on sale ($10 t-shirt / $15 long-sleeve). Be there or be a rhombus.
3) Blue & Gold. Save the Date - Sunday December 5. Come to our celebratory banquet in Boston. There'll be cocktails, a jazz band, a raffle, dinner, and a keynote speech by University of Maine President Robert Kennedy (Class of '74 Ph.D.).
4) Photos. Do you have any CACNE memories? Send them to our Historian Kate at seast...@gmail.com.
5) Dues. Pay them! Donate your $20 to CACNE at http://www.calnewengland.org/membership. $3 of every membership fee goes to the Cal Fund and all paying members get a free CACNE 2010 beer stein.
6) Next week, our email will transition to the new CAA email server. Our emails will be prettier and the "unsubscribe" link should work. Looking forward to it and you should be too.
