All you need to know about this game is that it is the beginning of Cal's in-conference schedule - the games that count.  Arizona just beat a nationally ranked Iowa team to go 3-0 on the season but we can take them!  Saturday's game will be broadcast on Comcast Sports Net, so the best place to watch the game is at the Baseball Tavern with your friends at CACNE!

2. CACNE Trivia Night Starting September 30 @ 8 PM!

The Baseball Tavern has started an Alumni Group Trivia Contest!  The winning school will get a free end-of-season wrap up party with free food and beer as well as a banner hanging in the BT as 2010 Alumni Trivia Champions!  There will also be weekly prizes for top performers.

Trivia night will be held every Thursday, September 30 - November 18.  If we get enough interest, we can have more than one team!  If you're interested in coming to one or all of the nights, sign up today!

3. Save the Date - CACNE Annual Apple Picking Trip, October 24!

Come experience the New England tradition!  CACNE will be making its annual trip out to Bolton for apple picking in four weeks!  We will be picking apples at Carlson Orchards and then traveling over to the Bluegrass and Brews Festival over at Nashoba Valley Winery & Orchard.  Sign-ups will begin in the next couple of weeks so put this date down in your calendars today!

4. CACNE Photos Now Available Online

5. Update on New T-Shirts and Dues

We have order new shirts - gray this time, to depart from the traditional blue - in both short-sleeve ($10) and long-sleeve ($15).  They should be in stock by the UCLA game next week and you will be able to purchase them both on-line and off-line.

We are also updating our dues system and should announce the new program by early next week.
