Hello CACNE Members!
My, how summer flies by! It seems like just yesterday we were sipping drinks with Chancellor Birgeneau, and now we are already looking at the beginning of another college football season! Here are some updates for all of you going into August.

As the 2010 Cal Football Season approaches, the CACNE Board is looking for feedback on the Baseball Tavern, our current Gameday host, and on your general CACNE Gameday Party experiences. Please take our survey today and help us make your Saturdays that much better this fall!

2) New England College Fair Volunteers Wanted
The California Alumni Association is looking for volunteers in New England to represent UC Berkeley at a college fair in your area this fall! Cal alumni make the best ambassadors for UC Berkeley. To volunteer for the YES Berkeley! Student Recruitment Program, first register and participate in the 2010 College Fair Alumni Ambassador Training.

3) CACNE Membership Renewal Season!
As a reminder, paid CACNE Memberships reset every year on September 1. For just $15, you can renew your membership today!
The Cal Alumni Club of New England, founded in 1975, is a non-profit chapter of the Cal Alumni Association. Our only purposes are to serve over 10,000 local alumni of the University of California and foster stronger connections between our members, our community, and our campus. Our events range from football tailgates and local apple picking trips to receptions with university officials and prestigious alumni.
While most of our events are free, there are costs to keep the club functioning, as well as fabulous benefits that you receive as an official CACNE Member. This includes savings on CACNE events that cost money and awesome CACNE t-shirts. Go to 2 or 3 things all year and you will have made your dues back in member savings on our events and gear!
