Hi ASAP Alum!,

I am sending you an update on some good news for Campaign Bridge, ASAP's campaign to improve guidance that they have been working on for the past 4 years.

City Council just sent out the announcement for the Ed Committee Hearing for 9/29.  The time is for 10am.  My goal is to try to bring out as much folks to attend and testify around the recommendations of Campaign Bridge and our Education Platform on guidance.

Alums!  Especially from ASAP 8, 9, and 10, this is what we have been working so hard on and we finally got this hearing.  Please let me know if you want to support by:

-Coming out to the hearing
-Testifying at the hearing
-Spreading the word to bring people out to the hearing
-Blasting the hearing on social media on the day of

Please let me know if you can do either of these actions, although the hearing begins at 10am, you can come later in the afternoon if you would like to testify.  Our aim is to pack this hearing and to let them know that social development and inter-personal support is critical for our high school youth.

I have also attached the one-pager for Campaign Bridge on this e-mail.  I also attached links to the proposed legislation/resolution that they will also be discussing here:

Thanks,
Mitch
