Free movie tickets & a chance to attend "Let's Make a Deal"!!

Helllooooo CAC!

I hope you're all have a marvelous summer so far!  For those of you still in the LA area, I've got some activities that are FUN while FUNDRAISING for our club:

1. Donate blood at UCLA's Ackerman or Gayley center - it only takes an hour to save 3 lives, and you'll receive a free movie ticket + seasonal prize too! (or 4 hours pay if you're a UCLA employee!)  Check out the hours & eligibility requirements here: http://gotblood.ucla.edu/body.cfm?id=53. While you're there, make sure to tell them you're part of an organization, and sign the binder saying you're a member of CAC.  With enough donations, we'll get awesome prizes like a free $200 food party just for us :)

2. Attend a TV show taping of CBS's "Let's Make a Deal" - Yes, that's the one with host Wayne Brady, who chooses contestants from audience members to win prizes such as boats, cars, TVs, vacations, and cash prizes [read: THIS COULD BE YOU!!].  On top of that, we'll get $40 per person for anyone who attends the taping from ~10:30am-5:30pm!  If you're interested, respond to me ASAP with all the days that you're available from now to Friday, July 30th - this promotion only lasts for 2 weeks!  We'll be combining with CACs from nearby colleges to meet the 15 person minimum, so this would also be a great way to meet people from other colleges.  (Anyone 18 and older is welcome to join us, including non-CACers!)

Summary: if you want free movie tickets or a chance to win some major cash while fundraising for CAC, now's the time to do it!! Alrighty hope to hear back from you soon - and stay cool during this heat wave!
