Hello to both returning and non-returning members!
First of all, CONGRATULATIONS & MANY THANKS for all your hard work - here's a list of awards we got for this past year:
1) Relay Award: Purple Pace Setter
2) Relay Award: TOP RELAY FOR LIFE INCOME (California Youth Division)
3) CAC Award: National Leader of Hope
4) CAC Award: National OUTSTANDING CHAPTER OF THE YEAR (#1 again from over 450 national chapters!!)
This really is a direct result from all the time and effort you put into supporting this cause - you are all AMAZING =D
NON-RETURNING MEMBERS:
This year, we're creating an "alumni mailing list" - we'll occasionally send out an email about BIG events (like when Relay weekend is) or if we win awards... stuff like that. For anyone who doesn't sign up again for the club this year, we'll be adding your email to this list unless you request otherwise!
RETURNING MEMBERS:
You are more than welcome & encouraged to come to our two interested parties meetings this week! (bring your friends too =P):
1. Tuesday 9/28 @ 7pm - meet at the Bruin Bear
2. Wednesday 9/29 @ 7pm - meet at the Bruin Bear
Both meetings will be the same, so no need to attend both! We'll be giving an overview of the structure of the club as well as some of the events we hold around campus to show potential new members how awesome & spirited we are - feel free to wear last year's club & RFL tshirts!!
