Great news! AB 2253 passed out of the Assembly Appropriations Committee on a party-line vote, and it is now headed to the floor, where it will be voted on by every member of the State Assembly by the end of the month. The bill could come up as early as this coming Monday.

Attached is a draft coalition "Floor Alert." Please let us know by midday tomorrow if you'd like to be removed.

For folks in Sacramento, please let Nick and Kayla know if you have capacity to help lobby.

Thanks for your help!
