Hi Brittany,

I won’t be able to join the meeting this week as I’m currently in Scotland with my daughter her son who was born on the 18th.  Since I’m 8 hours ahead, the meeting occurs at 2am local time.

One thing new I noticed during Earth Month was at my local Trader Joe’s in Pacific Grove has stocked its free utensils available to customers has changed from plastic to bamboo. 👍

Photos below are the Trader Joe’s display and an example of similar bamboo utensils that are widely used in the UK.

I’ve been observing and promoting Plastic Free July for many years and I support CAC creating materials to spread awareness and encourage participation.

Congrats to you and your daughter! That is very exciting. I hope you have a lovely time in Scotland. Thank you for sharing the bamboo utensils and your interest in Plastic Free July.
