Since the hearing is almost a week out, we could send a note to constituents of some of these committee members asking them to call — you should also know which districts folks in your group are in.

Attached is an updated version of the group letter opposing AB 2226.
 
The bill is set for a hearing on Monday April 27th @ 2:30 PM in Room 437 of the Capitol.
 
Next steps:
  • Please let us know if you think you’ll be able to attend the hearing—2226 is currently only one of two bills scheduled to be heard.
  • Encourage your partners to call or email this week. Feel free to use our site orcall Chair Bryan’s office directly.
  • Please consider reaching out to your legislators if they are on the Assembly Natural Resources Committee:

Hi all, 

I will not be able to attend this hearing next week but I will be calling/emailing my representative to urge them to vote No on this bill. I do suggest you all do the same! 

I believe most of the Plastics group is represented by Bryan, Hoover, Wicks, and Schultz. If anyone has questions on how to contact their rep or what to say, please let me know.
