...tabling?

how do people feel about doing some more tabling? i for one am not into doing it *alone* and in fact. i tend to feel a bit uncomfortable with anything that makes me feel like a missionary. but i do think this might be a constructive use of time. the response to march 4 tabling was really good. we could just table with zines and things to read like what we are reading in the reading groups, we can tell people about stuff like that, whatever we're talking about and how we're trying to come up with somethings to do here, developing our analyses and connections with other active people and groups in the area. we could give out zines about student activism and anti-capitalism, flyers for may day in santa cruz and about the brown berets, and whatever else... why not? what do people think? i would be down possibly to do some of this as long as i don't have to do it alone.
