I want to mount my wiser pole on my mast. How did you do it and how much does it cost.
Breck Caine CR 38 #19
Hi Leslie,
Are you satisfied with the performance, dimensions, weight of your w-pole?
Should it be longer, shorter, different diameter, etc?
Do you employ an uphaul/downhaul arrangement like a spinnaker or just let its end float on the genny sheet?
Many thanks
Dave

We have a ring that slides on our mast. A rigger ran a halyard inside the mast that controls sliding the ring (and the inboard end of the pole) up and down.

> I hope this helps you understand our set up. I never detach the upper end of the pole. I use the halyard for the staysail for the pole. The rigger that set this up did a nice job. You pull the trigger on the lower trigger, lift the end and attach to gennie sheet and extend the pole. The upper end slides down the mast and you secure it in the desired height.
