Computer tech expert Lauren Weinstein wrote on his mailing list earlier
today: "Saw a well-known fitness tech YouTube guy demonstrating wearing
an Apple Vision Pro headset while riding a bike on a trail, and (just as
I discussed some days ago was a strong possibility when riding or
driving, etc.) it suddenly went completely black for at least several
seconds. Nobody hurt, but he was afterwards appropriately concerned."
The Apple Vision Pro manual warns wearers not to operate a bicycle while
wearing. This guy will be the first of many to do so for the internet
clicks. At least he wasn't riding in traffic. Still a Darwin Award
candidate.
