Badvocates play a better game than we do.
They have "the media's" ear, we don't.
But they also do the work it takes to get their fear mongering out
there. And we don't.
Steve Linke answered my plea for credible research debunking FWHA/DOT's
claim that "bike lanes save lives."
He sent me the Dixon-FHWAstudy-critique.pdf and it's attached in case
you don't already have it.
Yes, the DOT website was indeed stuffed with bullshit.
And very difficult BS for its purveyors to render, it turns out, as the
footnotes on the "study" itself admit.
And this is the type of BS which Blakespear seeks to permanently embed
in CA state highway policy.
Witch is too nice a name for her.
