How long will the Badvocates sell fear as their primary public
appeal?
I don't know how or even IF I should reply to ol' Bella here.
I do know that I will reject any appeal that leans on the phrase
"traffic violence."
It also escapes them than the whole Vision Zero thing failed, I believe, everywhere agencies played it. That's why it expired!

Dear Orange County Bicycle Coaltion,
My name is Bella and I am a policy and legislation intern with SAFE. I write to you in hopes that you will join Streets Are For Everyone in our efforts to declare a State of Emergency on Traffic Violence.
Since Vision Zero has already expired, if we are unable to make significant strides in 2026 towards our collective goal of making streets safer, our government will never share or support our collective goal!
That is why I’m reaching out to invite you to join us as a coalition partner in an open letter to the Mayor of Los Angeles and the City Council. The letter demands city leadership to declare a State of Emergency on traffic violence and immediately allocate resources to begin alleviating the issue. We have provided a roadmap to make this happen, and the only thing missing from the letter is your signature of support and logo.
