The following announcements are from the Environmental Protection Network

EPA Webinar:

EPA Grants Competition Process Webinar

EPA is hosting a webinar on December 17, 1-2 pm ET, for grant assistance agreement applicants and current recipients. During the session, EPA staff will walk through key aspects of the agency’s grants processes and requirements, with time for participants to submit questions. For more information and to register, please visit our website.

Funding Opportunities:
Impact Fund
The Impact Fund offers recoverable grants for litigation— including environmental justice cases — that show strong community involvement and potential for systemic impact. Funds can cover travel, filings, and expert costs, and grantees also receive guidance and training. Grants are awarded quarterly, with priority for well-scoped cases that deliver clear community benefits. Please go to our website for more details.

Norman Foundation Grants

The Norman Foundation funds U.S. initiatives promoting economic and environmental justice through community organizing, coalition building, and policy reform. Priorities include toxics prevention and linking local justice efforts to broader national or international reform. Prospective grantees should initiate the application process by sending a short letter of inquiry to the Program Director. Grants are rolling and average ~$30,000, with preference for organizations with annual budgets under $1M. Learn more and apply via our website.

Cohorts and Fellowships:

AmericaFWD Project Delivery Accelerator Lab
AmericaFWD has launched the Project Delivery Accelerator Lab, a national initiative helping communities move federally funded infrastructure projects from award to completion. The Lab provides technical assistance, rapid-response support, and peer learning to help jurisdictions overcome delivery barriers and keep equity and climate goals at the center. Initial cohorts are being built, and additional communities will be added on a rolling basis. Applications are open until December 18, 2025, and you can find more information and the link to apply on our website.

2026 Switzer Fellowships

The Switzer Foundation is accepting applications for 2026 Switzer Fellowships for graduate students in New England and California who demonstrate leadership potential and a commitment to environmental improvement. Fellows receive a $17,000 award, participate in leadership retreats, and join a network of 750+ environmental leaders. Students of color, first-generation graduates, and those from underrepresented groups are encouraged to apply. Deadline: January 5, 2026. Please go to our website for more information and to apply.

The Climate Advocacy Blueprint Training Cohort
The Climate Advocacy Blueprint Lab has launched a 5-month learning and coaching program for organizers and advocates working within U.S. climate coalitions. Grounded in the Blueprint for a Multiracial, Cross-Class Climate Movement, the cohort supports participants in strengthening coalition strategy, decision-making, momentum, and relationships through training, peer learning, and coaching. Applications are due by January 16, 2026 at 11:59 PM PT. Visit our website for more information and to apply.
