The City Planning Department wants to hear from you as we develop a comprehensive bike network that works for bicyclists and neighborhoods across the city. The Citywide Draft Bicycle Network Survey is now available. We invite you to review the proposed bikeways and share your feedback.
The Bicycle Master Plan Update will identify a network of bikeways and provide a framework to make the city an easy and safe place to bike. The Plan focuses on supporting healthy and safe travel to work, school, and other activities. It will also outline how the City will work with communities to determine if, when and how the identified bike projects are built.
The draft network includes bikeways identified to provide a safe and easy way to get around San Diego by bike for all ages and abilities, and your feedback will help refine the proposed network to ensure it meets community needs.
This map-based survey is open through April 30, 2026.
