By popular request, here is a link to the American Bicycling Education
Association's April 8 statement to the Associated Press proposing a
clarification to the press' confusing usage of the term "e-bike" for
illegal "e-motos" and other bicycle-shaped objects that are already
illegal to ride on streets in California and many other public places.

The good news is we are starting to see the media do a better job on
this front, which in turn will tamp down calls for over-regulation of
e-bikes.

Thanks Scott.
Keri generates content as if she can you help herself. We don't deserve her.

Not to take anything at all away from Keri -- she is the best! -- this statement arose out of conversations between herself, myself, Jim Baross, Beth Black and John S. Allen - a big chunk of the current brain trust of ABEA.

Keri is far better than just the best.

When I come up with an idea and she says "You're crazy, Gary" that is what l need to hear!
