This is worth circulating. Craig Davis, founder/head of Cyclist Video Evidence, has been trying to years to get law enforcement to issue citations based on videos of reckless drivers. This grant jury report is a big step forward.

I agree Steven. I know of one instance where vid caught during an assault was shown to an officer shortly thereafter, on the street. The LEO ran the plate, went to the home address, and cited the driver on the spot. But that was one Santa Ana cop's own initiative.
And you've probably seen distressing video of deadly assaults... I have from friends of the victim. They followed up with cops in the Central Valley who found the pickup and horse trailer involved, and it turned out the driver had switched seats with the unlicensed kid brother who was driving. So lots of liability in that family to go around. BTW the cyclist was riding a recumbent....
