Maybe. Certainly that message is shorter and direct, except, there are a lot of situations around here where the lane is not too narrow to share when on-street parking is not present. 

When my safety is not compromised, I often move aside so that people wishing to travel faster may pass safely/frictionlessly/courteously. Not when approaching intersections, etc.
