This is the first time I have ever heard in which the parent is held responsible for a child's use of an ebike/emoto.

Child endangerment charges filed recently… not liability for injuring another,  but 6 year potential sentence.

The way the system works, he'll plead it down to a misdemeanor, get less than a year in county jail, pay a fine, and be required to do some community service.
