Jim Baross just turned 80, so he rode 84 miles! Many know Jim but those who don't should know that Jim is the premiere maven for bicycle advocacy and education in San Diego County, all of CA, indeed for the USA as a recent Board Member of the League of American Bicyclists (LAB). He is currently the President of CABO (California Association of Bicycle Organizations). Jim has coached hundreds of cyclists including CHP and local law enforcement to become certified League (LAB) Cycling Instructors. He has made and continues to make cycling better for all cyclists everywhere. Jim's mantra: "Better cyclists makes cycling better!"

Consider rewarding Jim's birthday accomplishment by supporting CABO at https://cabobike.org/membership with a membership or donation. In fact, wouldn't $1/mi ridden today be appropriate? - but any contribution would be great.

Keep on riding - Karl

p.s. Jim rode from his home in Normal Heights. I met up with him at UCSD. We both rode the same mileage for the day, a leisurely 12 mph pace. Strava friends can view Jim's ride directly and offer kudos at https://www.strava.com/activities/17145265147
