IC2 Semifluid Generator won't accept creosote oil as fuel

The config and recipe changes says that creosote oil can be used as fuel for the semifluid generator from IC2. I tried to insert a universal fluid can filled with creosote oil into a semifluid generator but it won't be accepted.

I tried this on a server and then I tried it in single player. Worked fine in single player. I have no idea what the problem is.
