Hello all,

I've talked with John and there's some misunderstanding about why I cancelled this Saturday's hike. Sorry I didn't properly communicate.

The reason is that I had made a mistake and hadn't checked the moonrise time. It will rise at 10:26, which is too late. Most of the hike would have been in the dark. Of course, possible to hike with the city lights, but it kind of defeats the purpose of waiting for the full moon.

However, on May 25, there is a moonrise at 9:15 so it's perfect.

You've been an awesome group and I think it's better to wait a little and do it right. I don't want to let you down.

Sorry again about the confusion.
Tony

So May 25 instead of in two weeks? Or are we doing both?

Not both, just on May 25, I suggest.

Well stated reasons for the logical adjustment to the hike plans.

Which all goes to show why you still retain the illustrious title of:  Hike-master!
