Moon hike this Friday

Hello Everyone,

It turns out that Friday is better for me than Saturday (although still doable), so would it be OK if we hiked on Friday? Also, the moon will rise earlier and it will be the actual, true full moon. I'm attaching pictures from the last time we went, so that you know you want to join.

Bring a flashlight or headlamp, but we will try to do the same thing as last time and hike without them (trust your scotopic vision . Dress warmly, as it might be windy at the top. We follow the first rule of hiking and never leave people behind.

The parking lot will most likely be full but there sufficient street parking nearby. Then, walk to the gate and meet us there.

And then, In and Out Burger?

Probably can't do later start time, as the park closes at 10pm. Can
you bribe someone with cookies to start the tests for you? :}

Yes, and the moon won't wait. However, I've budgeted some extra time and the hike can be done in one hour less. If you want, you can start a tad later and catch up with us.

We're bringing our penny stoves, i believe? what else? What kinds of alcohol work with it by the way?

I actually think we shouldn't bring the penny stoves. What are the
fire regulations there? Imagine accidentally kicking over a container
of flaming alcohol over dried grass...
