Fade to black between scenes

Hi,

I would like to fade to black when switching between scenes. I tried
implementing this using alpha=true in the easeInOut function, but this
does not quite give the intended result: when switching, all actors
become slowly transparent, thereby revealing parts of the scene that are
usually hidden from the user (eg light background covered by a dark
actors etc).

So, while technically "fading out" is implemented, for a proper scene
change as in movies etc you would need a "fade to black"

Any ideas how to solve this?
